Dave Greten is a writer, editor, and web designer. In his first real job out of college, he was the eighth employee at Viaweb, a Cambridge-based startup founded by Paul Graham. Viaweb was acquired by Yahoo in 1998 and Dave moved to California to become employee #512. He worked at Yahoo until relocating back to the east coast in 2001. In 2003 he worked for the John Kerry for President campaign before taking a job at search engine optimization firm iProspect as an analyst. He now works for Bob Vila, star of The Bob Vila Show. Dave has a B.A. in English from the University of New Hampshire where he was a staff reporter for the campus newspaper. He rowed in the Head of the Charles in 2005 and climbed Mount Rainier in 2004 and Mount Kilimanjaro in 2006. He lives in a brick building in the Boston area with his wife and daughter. |
